Our Vision
At Cognition Crafters, we see education as more than mastering content — it’s about learning how to shape the way we think, learn and grow. We believe that every student can become an active designer of their own learning journey.
Cognition crafting is at the heart of our approach. This means helping students develop the skills to manage their workload, use effective learning strategies, and build mental habits that support focus, understanding and confidence. We guide learners to “craft” their study practices — adjusting their environment, tools and approaches so learning becomes more productive, less stressful and more meaningful.
Our vision is to nurture capable, independent learners who not only achieve academic success, but also develop a lifelong love of learning. By empowering students to understand how they learn best, we help them carry strong thinking skills, adaptability and self-belief far beyond the classroom.
Founder
Dr. Eleni Smyrnis
Worked as a tutor for primary, secondary and university students for 15+ years. Most recently an academic tutor at The University of Sydney teaching various subjects in Undergraduate and Masters of Education courses. Alongside tutoring, Eleni has worked as a primary school teacher in various Sydney schools. She has published several articles in education and is a dedicated and passionate educator committed to helping students reach their full academic potential. She holds a PhD in Philosophy (Education) from The University of Sydney.
